Hello my lovelies, hope everyone is having an amazing summer!
In today’s post I want to share with you my love of mason jars. Yes, they’ve been around for a long time and still continue to show up when you least expect them. They’re inexpensive, fun and incredibly useful. Mason jars bring a dose personality to any wedding or event. I remember walking into the Gap at the beginning of summer and what did I find? Mason jars stuffed with strings of white lights…gorgeous! If you’re the do it yourself kind of bride or have a creative decor team, the possibilities are endless and the results will be spectacular.
How cute are these place cards? This is a super easy do it yourself project, even the groom is likely to get on board. The edges of the place cards are finished with a stick of match (once over) to create the aged look…go easy there.
We’ve seen many a drinks served in these adorable jars, but they can also be used for treats, especially take home treats, what a yummy idea! Your guest will love the idea of a snack to go, fill them with whatever you like cakes, fruits, candy…the list goes on and on. Another really cool idea is filling the jars with dry pancake, muffin or cakes mixes, your guests can enjoy whenever the mood strikes. Don’t forget to add labels with ingredients and instructions.
Perfect for any outdoor wedding or event adds a touch of soft lighting. Dress them up as little or as much as you’d like. A great decorator/designer can make you a one of a kind light installation that’s perfect for an indoor event too. Imagination is key!
I adore this idea! Instead of using the jars filled with flowers on the table (which would be equally pretty), use them to dress up your chairs! Genius I know…sorry I can’t take credit for this, but I think this is uber cute.
I love this setting for many reasons, it’s electic and gorgeous. The use of the burlap compliments the mason jars, yet the fine china adds an understated elegance. Don’t be afraid to mix highs and lows, if properly executed the end result will spectacular and uniquely yours.
